Montreux

On the shores of  Lake Geneva, Switzerland, a beautiful city where world artists leave the story.

Thing that a stand out from this city is a lot of artists from various countries have stayed in hotels,  in the city, and many of those lodgings or have a house. Montreux has long been inhabited by artists of the world. There’s something that makes them fascinated with Montreux.

Castle of  Chillon. Evidence of the presence of the artist, who started the stories of other artists who had been in place. Castle of Chillon in the early 13th-century started the stories with the artists. Lord Byron (1788-18244), an English nobleman and artist who came to Montreux in 1816. Creating a famous sonnet entitled Prisoner of Chillon, which inspired many people. Many admirers of Byron often visited the castle of Chillon and Montreux. First Notre Dame

The Notre Dame does not cost anything to go throughout the year. It only cost you if you want to climb  the tower. The cathedral took 200 years to complete the construction was finally completed in 1345. It has beautiful gothic architecture, including many gargoyles for the artist, to inspire you. There are free guided tours in several languages, including Bahasa and German.
